This venerable and much honored WW II vet is well known in Hawaii

for his seventy-plus years of service to patriotic organizations and causes

all over the country. A humble man without a political bone in his body,

he has never spoken out before about a government official, until now.

He dictated this letter to a friend, signed it and mailed it to the president.

The letter can be seen at www.dailydiatribe.net

It was a great letter. I am glad you got the font set so I could read it and now I will be able to read the rest of the letters.

I couldn't help but wonder though if the writer has never thought about the matter of the government sending us into that war for profit and if so how he felt about that?

You guys know how I feel about OhBummer and to this day there is not one thing he has done that I approve of so please in no way take my question as support for the delusional invader of the white house.

I can only say that with 6 uncles serving in Europe and one in the pacific theater as well as my father all that I was ever able to speak to about the war hate a very bitter attitude for how we were tossed into it and none of those thought the enemy in the pacific was worthy of the air they consumed. My uncle hated Olin as much as the Japanese and he knew the family.

Curtman,

I thought about this as well, and also that I don't agree with the popular view of Muslims. I think if the US had a bigger bully picking on us, occupying our lands, etc. that Americans would act much like the Muslims we're being programmed to hate.

But about the question on the thoughts of serviceman like Senior Chief Estes, I give them lots of leeway. Being a vet of "the Great War" or any war for that matter where one sees combat and close friends killed, regardless of the personal reasons for serving, I think pretty much permanently embeds in the mind certain beliefs.

Being a vet is so much of who these guys are and in their minds it simply MUST have been for a good cause. I really imagine these guys just barely holding it together mentally and having done a "tough job" for "the good of all mankind" is part of the glue that holds it together.

Even considering that "their war" was fought only to enrichen the Morgans and the Rothschilds threatens them with a mental ungluing. In a way, it would probably be better for mankind as a whole if we could somehow enlighten these guys but I think that jar has the lid screwed on pretty tightly.

They'd have to let go of who they think they are, which is probably the only thing that keeps what they've seen and done from causing a mental meltdown.

BTW Curtman,

I think you're the first member to actually remark about one of the columns.

Too funny it was one written by somebody else!

Hahahahahaahah!

Well it is only because it was the first one I could see to read. The other ones before were not small enough font. It is hard to explain but just imagine every sentence being blended into the sentence above it. I guess I could have just cut it and pasted to a notepad but have been pretty frustrated lately even with the metals doing well.

I'll see if I can edit the other ones to put smaller text...

Thanks for the support, Curtman.
